Our Journey From Timber to Diverse Ventures
KMIC Group began with KMIC Limited Company (KMIC) which started as a small timber merchant in June 2018 and was dully incorporated in February 2022 as a private limited liability company under the Companies Act,2019 (Act 992) by Mr. Michael Atta Mensah as a sole shareholder.KMIC Limited Company has the below mandates:
- To transport legally to and or retail quality wood of all sizes (2x2, 2x3, 2x4, 2x6, 1x12 and upon request) the urban timber markets particularly to Accra timber Market, Kasoa timber Market, Ashaiman timber Market and Takoradi timber Market.
- To Supply and or retail sawn woods/lumber of all sizes to the estate developers upon request.
- To Supply sawn woods/lumber of all sizes to our clients in the various timber markets.
To adequately satisfy the Ghanaian market with other products, KMIC Couture and Boutiques Limited emerged and was incorporated in February 2024, also as a private limited liability company under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) by Mr. Michael Atta Mensah and KMIC Limited Company as shareholders.KMIC Couture and Boutiques Limited has the mandates;
- African wear collections (Kaftan, Corsets & special fashion for specific events )
- On-store/Walking-in shopping
- Production and supply/retail to the local shop owners and individuals, the modern African styles for Men and Women of all ages.
- To produce and export to the foreign/ international markets particularly Germany, UK, USA and Canada, the Modern African styles for Men and Women of all ages.
- Customize tailoring services for clients
- Importation of fabrics and retail of same to clients and shops particularly Accra, Kumasi
To additionally satisfy the other sectors of the Ghanaian market/economy with quality products and classy services, KMIC Energy, KMIC Logistics and Supply were also incorporated in September 2024 as subsidiaries under The Registration of Business Names Act, 1962 (No. 151) by Mr. Michael Atta Mensah as a sole proprietor of the above subsidiaries. The Mandate of the above subsidiaries are:
KMIC Energy
- Trade in Gas(LPG) and Petroleum Products
KMIC Logistics and Supply
- Transport services, importation of beverages and other commodities.
2018
Foundation Laid
In June 2018, KMIC Limited Company was established as a small timber merchant. This marked the beginning of our journey in the timber industry.
2022
Incorporation Achieved
KMIC Limited Company was officially incorporated in February 2022. This transition allowed us to operate as a private limited liability company.
2024
New Ventures
In February 2024, KMIC Couture and Boutiques Limited was launched to diversify our offerings. This expansion focuses on modern African fashion and tailoring services.
2024
Subsidiaries Established
In September 2024, we incorporated KMIC Energy and KMIC Logistics and Supply. These subsidiaries aim to enhance our service offerings in energy and logistics.

Mr. Michael Atta Mensah
Founder and Managing Director of KMIC GROUP
Michael is an entrepreneur and employee of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Ltd Co. He is passionate about creating jobs out of every opportunity to help curb Ghana's high unemployment rate. Michael has seven (7) years of working experience in the oil and gas industry, six (6) years of working experience in the timber/lumber industry. He most recently represented KMIC Group in Paris for a business submit where the company was awarded as one of the fast-growing groups of businesses in Ghana.
Mr. Mashood Mumin Esq
The Head of Legal Affairs – KMIC GROUP
He is a Solicitor and Barrister @Law; Researcher/Author; Mumin holds BBA(Accounting); LL. B; PGDLP; BL & General certificate in IP rights. Mr. Mashood has 8- and 5-years working experiences at Gambia and Ghana bar respectively. All legal matters of KMIC Group are being handled by the Lead Counsel, Mr. Mashood Mumin.
Mr. John Adzane Essien
Operations and Technical Advisor - KMIC Limited Co
Mr. Adzane Essien is a renowned accountant with 5 years experience at KAOBA COMPANY LIMITED - timber and lumber industry, and 7 years experience as a manager (Treasury) at Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Ltd Co. (BOST) - Oil and Gas industry. He holds MSc Accounting and Finance, BSc Administration (Accounting), and HND Accounting.
Mrs. Gianna Antwi-Boasiako
Head of Corporate Planning of KMIC LTD CO
Gianna is a Senior haulage officer at Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Ltd Co. She holds MSc Supply Chain and Management, BSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Gianna has five (5) years of working experience in management roles. She now serves as a public relations manager at KMIC GROUP.
Mr. Bright Acheampong
Manager of Human Resources of KMIC GROUP
Bright is a lab tech with a Diploma of Laboratory Management. He has four (4) years of working experience as Lab technician at Ghana Health and five years of working experience in the timber/lumber industry. Bright doubles as an operations and research manager at KMIC LTD CO.
